Washington Shelter Purchases The Central City Bed

Monday, November 03, 2014

We welcome the Interfaith Works Emergency Overnight Shelter as a client and congratulate them on their November 1st opening. This 42-bed shelter located in the First Christian Church in Olympia, Washington, will serve Olympia's most vulnerable people currently living on the streets.

The "vulnerability index" determines a client's fragility and evaluates such factors as client background, housing history, health conditions, personal trauma and past drug use. The First Christian Church has a long history of sheltering homeless families.
